Roddy Ricch has unveiled “Lonely Road,” the latest single from his upcoming album, The Navy Album. While the highly anticipated project was originally slated for a 2024 release, Ricch recently confirmed a delay, with the album now set to drop on February 21, 2025.
The reflective track showcases Ricch’s introspective lyricism as he opens up about his time away from the spotlight. Complementing his words, Terrace Martin delivers a soulful saxophone melody that elevates the single’s emotional depth.
In the accompanying music video, Ricch channels the album’s nautical theme, wearing all-navy attire paired with classic wheat Timbs. The visual narrative unfolds as Ricch receives a call from his partner announcing that “Navy is on the way”—a reference to the couple’s soon-to-be-born child. Throughout his journey, he encounters ethereal, feather-winged angels on his commute. A standout moment in the video captures Martin performing an evocative saxophone solo in the middle of an empty highway, reinforcing the song’s contemplative tone.
The Navy Album will feature 18 tracks, including “Lonely Road” and the previously released “Survivor’s Remorse,” which dropped earlier this year in May.
