Lil Baby seemingly addresses Gunna in the deluxe edition of his latest album, WHAM. The expanded version features the track “Running Sh*t,” where Lil Baby appears to call out Gunna, who has faced criticism for taking a plea deal in the YSL RICO case involving Young Thug.
“I don’t care what he did, he a rat still,” Lil Baby raps on the track, adding, “And I said what I said, don’t @ me.” The lyrics align with Baby’s previous statements about distancing himself from artists he perceives as disloyal, hinting that a reunion between him and Gunna is unlikely.
In a recent appearance on Lil Yachty’s A Safe Place podcast, Lil Baby clarified his stance: “It boils down to what we rapping about. We can’t rap about that if you did that. If I was making Christmas music, then I don’t give a damn what you did.” Similarly, in an interview with Charlamagne Tha God, Baby confirmed, “We ain’t got no relationship”.

Gunna, meanwhile, has denied all snitching allegations tied to his 2022 Alford plea, which secured his release with a time-served sentence. His lawyer, Steve Sadow, recently took to social media to defend Gunna’s actions, stating: “Gunna did NOT cooperate, and did NOTHING and said NOTHING to cause harm to Thug’s case. His plea could not and was not used at Thug’s trial.”
Despite these assurances, the accusations have lingered, with critics questioning Gunna’s credibility. However, Sadow has firmly urged detractors to move on: “THOSE THAT HAVE AND CONTINUE TO BAD MOUTH GUNNA, GET OVER IT. NUFF’ SAID.”
