Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ ‘Die With a Smile’ Dominates Billboard Hot 100 for Fourth Consecutive Week”

Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars continue to mesmerise music fans as their duet, “Die With a Smile,” secures a fourth consecutive week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. This achievement marks Gaga’s sixth career chart-topper and Mars’ ninth, cementing their status as two of the most iconic artists of their generation.

For Gaga, this ballad represents her second-longest stay at the top, surpassing her debut hit “Just Dance” featuring Colby O’Donis, which led for three weeks in January 2009. Her longest reign remains “Born This Way,” which dominated the charts for six weeks in early 2011. Mars, meanwhile, extends his remarkable record of Hot 100 hits with his fifth song to rule for four or more weeks, joining the ranks of “Uptown Funk!” with Mark Ronson (14 weeks at No. 1 in 2015), “Locked Out of Heaven” (six weeks, 2012-13), “Grenade” (four weeks, 2011), and “Just the Way You Are” (four weeks, 2010).

Other noteworthy movements on the Hot 100 include Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” which lands at No. 4 after an incredible 19 weeks at No. 1. The track ties the record for the longest run atop the Radio Songs chart, equaling The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights,” which led for 26 weeks in 2020. Meanwhile, Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control” secures its place in history as just the seventh single to spend at least 75 weeks on the Hot 100.
