J. Cole has officially ventured into blogging with the launch of his new platform, “The Algorithm.” Sharing his thoughts in the first entry, the rapper explained that this space is meant to be a more intimate way to share things he enjoys, away from the massive reach of social media. On his Inevitable website, which also hosts his podcast of the same name, Cole expressed his long-standing desire to create a blog, finally taking the leap and inviting readers to follow along as the page evolves.
In his debut post, Cole reflected on a song that holds a special place in his heart: LA rapper AHMAD’s 1993 hit “Back in the Day.” The track transported him back to his childhood, growing up on Lewis Street and dreaming of owning a GT Performer bike. As Cole turns 40, he shared a brief moment of gratitude, promising more reflective posts to come. “I’m GRATEFUL. Happy new year to yall and God bless. 2025 will be a good one,” he wrote.
J. Cole’s Inevitable podcast has already chronicled his remarkable journey from a determined young artist to a global star, and now he’s gearing up for the release of his seventh solo album, “The Fall-Off.” Fans are eagerly awaiting its arrival, which Cole hopes to complete ahead of Dreamville Festival’s final edition this April. At his Madison Square Garden concert celebrating the 10th anniversary of “2014 Forest Hills Drive,” Cole hinted at what’s to come, promising fans something new to look forward to at Dreamville Fest.
