Former First Lady Michelle Obama and singer-actress Michelle Williams were photographed backstage during a performance of The Boy Is Mine Tour — the 2025 concert tour co-headlined by Brandy and Monica.
According to a clip shared by the tour’s producer, Black Promoters Collective, Mrs. Obama greeted the performers backstage and joined in several group photos alongside Brandy, Monica, Michelle Williams and guest performer Kelly Rowland.
This stop in Washington, D.C. came as part of the 32-date tour that launched in October 2025. The tour continues through mid-December, with remaining shows set to feature Mýa — who replaced Muni Long for the remainder of the run after she stepped down for medical reasons.
For Michelle Williams, the tour appearance comes during a career spike: she recently earned a solo Grammy nomination for her participation in the cast recording of Death Becomes Her on Broadway.
Meanwhile, Michelle Obama — who has been relatively selective with public appearances — has reportedly stepped out more this year. In November 2025 she released a new photo collection titled “The Look,” capturing her evolving style since leaving the White House.
