Lil Wayne is heading back on tour. The rap icon has announced a new U.S. run for his 20th anniversary Tha Carter tour. The new leg includes more than 25 shows across the United States. The announcement came on March 17 through Live Nation. The tour celebrates over two decades of Wayne’s Tha Carter album series.

Fans can access Citi and artist pre-sale tickets starting March 18. General ticket sales begin on March 20 at 10 a.m. local time. Early buyers will also get a special offer. A limited two-for-$75 ticket deal will be available. Fans can use the promo code “DayOnes” while supplies last.
The tour will feature major hip-hop names as support. 2 Chainz and The Game will join Wayne on select dates. 2 Chainz will appear at most shows. Meanwhile, The Game will perform during the California stops.
This run will reach cities missed during last year’s tour. The trek begins on May 30 in Bangor, Maine. It will also visit Saratoga Springs, Chicago, Lexington, Des Moines, San Antonio, Denver, St. Louis, Nashville, and Long Beach.
The tour follows the release of Tha Carter VI, which arrived in June. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. It also reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200. The project earned 108,000 equivalent album units in its first week.
With this extended run, Lil Wayne continues to celebrate a defining hip-hop series. At the same time, he brings his legacy to fans across the country.
