Victony has made a major mark on the U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart following the release of his sophomore album, STARLIFE. For the chart week ending Sept. 5, 2026, the Nigerian singer has 10 songs on the Billboard ranking simultaneously, including eight tracks making their chart debuts.
The 15-track STARLIFE arrived Aug. 21 through OUTLAWVILLE under an exclusive global license to Encore Recordings. The album follows Victony’s 2024 debut album Stubborn and his 2025 project Very Stubborn. The new project features collaborations with BNXN, Blaqbonez, YKB, Babyboy AV, Young Jonn and FOLA.
Victony’s previously released “SLICK” leads the new chart run, rising from No. 3 to No. 2 on the U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart. “FRE$H,” another song released ahead of the album, sits at No. 21. The remaining eight entries are new debuts from STARLIFE.
The album’s title track, “STARLIFE,” featuring Blaqbonez and YKB, debuted at No. 34. “2FRESH” entered at No. 26, while “WHO THIS,” featuring BNXN, opened at No. 29. “TOO LIT” followed at No. 40, and “PINO,” featuring Babyboy AV, debuted at No. 41.
The remaining new entries were “TWIN,” featuring FOLA, at No. 47; “ARMED & DANGEROUS,” featuring Young Jonn, at No. 48; and “FYNE,” which completed Victony’s 10-song presence at No. 50. Together, the entries give the singer a substantial share of the current U.S. Afrobeats Songs ranking.
The chart performance follows a strong run for “SLICK,” which has surpassed 40 million global streams and reached No. 1 on Nigeria’s Official Charts and the U.K. Official Afrobeats Chart. The song also previously reached No. 2 on Billboard’s U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart before moving to its current position.
STARLIFE has also made its first appearance on Billboard’s World Albums chart, where it debuted at No. 20. The album has been described as a broader exploration of Afrobeats, R&B and other sounds, continuing Victony’s movement between different musical styles.
The album’s chart impact comes after Victony’s breakout into the international market through “Soweto,” his 2022 hit that later received remixes featuring Omah Lay, Rema and Don Toliver. His latest Billboard results now place multiple songs from STARLIFE alongside “SLICK” and “FRE$H” on the U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart.
As of Sept. 5, 2026, Victony’s 10 simultaneous entries represent the latest chart development from the STARLIFE era, with the album continuing to generate activity across Billboard’s U.S. Afrobeats Songs and World Albums rankings.
