Rod Wave has earned his fourth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with Don’t Look Down, which debuts at the top of the chart dated Sept. 12, 2026. The album moved 99,000 equivalent album units in the United States during its opening week, according to Luminate data reported by Billboard.
The seventh studio album generated most of its first-week performance through streaming. Streaming activity accounted for about 90,000 equivalent album units, representing 95.07 million on-demand official streams, while traditional album sales contributed approximately 9,000 units.
Don’t Look Down extends Rod Wave’s run of Billboard 200 No. 1 albums that began with SoulFly in 2021. He followed that chart-topper with Beautiful Mind in 2022 and Nostalgia in 2023. His 2024 album Last Lap reached No. 2, giving him another high-charting release before his latest project returned him to the top spot.
The album was released Aug. 28 through Alamo Records and contains 24 tracks on its expanded edition. It includes appearances from Luv Von, Aimee Carty, Hazlett and Summer Joy, with “Hustle,” “Mainstay” and “Piece of Your Love” among the songs released around the album’s rollout.
Rod Wave’s fourth No. 1 also gives him eight consecutive Billboard 200-charting projects that have reached the Top 10. Don’t Look Down is followed on the latest chart by Alex Warren’s WILDCHILD, which debuts at No. 2 with 75,000 equivalent album units.
The chart milestone arrives as Rod Wave prepares to begin his Don’t Look Down Tour. The North American trek is scheduled to start Sept. 12, with additional dates added following demand for the tour.
