The latest wave of new music has arrived, with Jhené Aiko, Slayyyter, Dove Cameron and several other artists releasing new projects and songs this week. Billboard is highlighting the releases in its latest reader poll, giving fans an opportunity to vote for their favorite new music.

Among the featured releases is Jhené Aiko’s “Pillow Fight,” which arrives as part of the week’s new music offerings. Aiko has continued releasing music following her critically recognized Chilombo era and has remained a prominent voice in contemporary R&B.

Slayyyter is also featured in the poll with “Made My Day,” adding another pop release to the week’s lineup. Dove Cameron is included as well, alongside releases from Bleachers, Rachel Chinouriri and Rema.

The new releases span several styles, including R&B, pop and alternative sounds, giving listeners a range of projects to choose from. Billboard’s weekly poll allows readers to select the release they consider their favorite among the highlighted songs and projects.

The poll was published Sept. 11, 2026, as part of Billboard’s ongoing coverage of the week’s biggest new music. Voting results will reflect the response from readers as fans continue to listen to the latest releases.

The specials arrive as CBS and MTV prepare for the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards, which will take place live from Los Angeles on Sunday, Sept. 27. The ceremony is scheduled to air from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. ET on CBS, with a simulcast on MTV and streaming on Paramount+. The 2026 VMAs will be hosted by Snoop Dogg, who was announced as the show’s host on Sept. 10. The rapper is a 13-time VMA nominee and three-time winner and has previously appeared on the VMA stage for performances involving Dr. Dre, Eminem and the Notorious B.I.G.
