Hongjoong is opening a new chapter in his solo work with “ENOuGH,” a collaboration with Bazzi that arrived Sept. 18, 2026, as ATEEZ continues one of its biggest years to date. The song was inspired in part by Hongjoong’s return to Coachella in April, where he attended as a guest after ATEEZ became the first K-pop boy group to perform at the festival in 2024.
During his time in Los Angeles, Hongjoong connected with artists including Teddy Swims, PinkPantheress, Central Cee, Swae Lee and BIGBANG’s Daesung. He said the experience gave him new inspiration, leading him to book a recording session after returning to Los Angeles and begin developing the song that became “ENOuGH.”
The collaboration with Bazzi takes a more atmospheric and restrained direction than much of the music associated with ATEEZ. The song focuses on finding a sense of fulfillment after a long period of longing, with the lyrics describing the feeling of becoming whole when someone important enters your life.
Hongjoong described the song as being connected to a feeling he had been pursuing for much of his life. The track gives him an opportunity to explore a more intimate vocal style alongside Bazzi, whose previous hits include “Mine” and “Beautiful.”
The release arrives during a particularly active period for ATEEZ. On June 26, the group released GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 228,000 equivalent album units, giving the group its third chart-topping album on the Billboard 200. Two days later, ATEEZ made its headlining debut at London’s BST Hyde Park.
Hongjoong has also been involved in ATEEZ’s songwriting and production since the group’s 2018 debut. While continuing his work with the group, he has expanded his individual activities through collaborations and solo material, with “ENOuGH” representing another release outside the group’s regular discography.
The music video for “ENOuGH” follows a space-themed storyline. Hongjoong appears traveling between planets before meeting Bazzi, with the ending showing his spaceship calling him back after his time on the new planet. The visual mirrors the song’s themes of discovery, connection and returning home.
When asked about the idea of having his own “planet,” Hongjoong identified ATEEZ as his home, describing the group as the place he returns to after exploring different experiences and creative directions.
Hongjoong is scheduled to continue expanding his solo activities in October, when he will perform as DJ NO1 at EDC Korea. The appearance will mark another side of his musical work beyond his role as ATEEZ’s leader, rapper, songwriter and producer.
Meanwhile, ATEEZ is preparing for its sold-out 82WORLD: LA festival, which is scheduled to feature a full day dedicated to the group and its fans. The group’s continued touring and releases come as Hongjoong’s “ENOuGH” begins its own run as a new solo collaboration.
