50 Cent has revealed that he has recorded a new collaboration with Eminem and the late 2Pac for the soundtrack to the upcoming Street Fighter movie. The rapper made the announcement during an appearance on Today With Jenna & Sheinelle, confirming that the track serves as the film’s theme song and will be released ahead of the movie’s theatrical debut on October 16, 2026.
The announcement surprised the show’s hosts, who questioned how 2Pac could appear on the record. 50 Cent clarified that the vocals come from officially authorized unreleased recordings supplied by the late rapper’s estate and emphasized that no artificial intelligence was used in the production. He explained that the estate approved the collaboration and said, “We worked on it and got it right,” adding that the song is “coming out shortly.”
The collaboration follows 50 Cent’s earlier promise to recruit Eminem for the Street Fighter soundtrack, a plan he first hinted at in late 2025 while promoting the film. The pair have maintained a long-running creative partnership dating back to 50 Cent’s signing to Shady Records, with previous collaborations including “Patiently Waiting,” “You Don’t Know,” “Crack a Bottle,” and more recently “Gunz N Smoke.”
The upcoming Street Fighter film features 50 Cent in the role of Balrog alongside a cast that includes Jason Momoa, Noah Centineo, Andrew Koji and Roman Reigns. While the soundtrack collaboration has now been confirmed, neither the song’s title nor an official release date has been announced.
