Jill Scott has officially announced her long-awaited sixth studio album, To Whom This May Concern, marking her first full-length release in more than a decade since 2015’s Woman. The album is scheduled for release on February 13, 2026, via Human Re Sources/The Orchard, and Scott shared the news with fans on social media, expressing gratitude for their patience and support.

Alongside the announcement, Scott released the lead single Beautiful People, which is now available on all major streaming platforms. The song has been described as an uplifting, neo-soul-rooted track that reflects themes of love, unity, and resilience.
To Whom This May Concern features collaborations with a diverse group of artists and producers, including Ab-Soul, J.I.D., Tierra Whack, Too $hort, Adam Blackstone, Om’Mas Keith, DJ Premier, Camper, Andre Harris, Seige Montracity, Trombone Shorty, Eric Wortham, DW Wright, and VT Tolan. The album’s visual identity was crafted by acclaimed artist Marcellus and aims to complement Scott’s sonic vision.
This project arrives after a period of musical collaborations and live performances by Scott over the past few years, as well as a milestone celebration of the 20th anniversary of her debut album Who Is Jill Scott? Words and Sounds Vol. 1. Fans and critics alike are noting the significance of her return to the studio with new material after such an extended hiatus.
