Miley Cyrus Responds to Super Bowl Halftime Show Rumors for 2027

Miley Cyrus has addressed growing speculation about a possible Super Bowl Halftime Show performance in 2027. The conversation comes as she celebrates 20 years since Hannah Montana, the Disney series that launched her global career in 2006.

In a recent interview with Variety on March 18, Cyrus shared her honest thoughts about the opportunity. She admitted that the Super Bowl stage feels overwhelming due to its scale and global audience.“ I always think the Super Bowl feels like too much pressure,” she said. She explained that the event’s massive viewership makes it hard not to focus on the numbers.

However, Cyrus did not rule out the idea completely. She said she could take on the challenge if she approached it in the right way. Instead of focusing on the pressure, she would treat it as a celebration of her career.

She compared this mindset to her upcoming Hannah Montana 20th anniversary special, which premieres on March 24 on Disney+. The project reflects on her journey through different musical eras and highlights the growth of her artistry.

Cyrus suggested that a Super Bowl performance could follow a similar concept. She would revisit her discography and celebrate each phase of her career. This approach, she said, would help her stay grounded during such a high-pressure event.

Since her Hannah Montana debut, Cyrus has built an impressive music career. She has earned 63 entries on the Billboard Hot 100, including No. 1 hits like “Wrecking Ball” and “Flowers.” She has also scored five No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200.

Because of this success, many fans believe she is a strong candidate to headline the 2027 Super Bowl Halftime Show. The event is scheduled for February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

Cyrus also has industry connections that could support the opportunity. She recently collaborated with Beyoncé on the song “II Most Wanted.” Beyoncé’s longtime partner Jay-Z, through Roc Nation, has curated the Super Bowl Halftime Show since 2019.

The 2026 halftime show was headlined by Bad Bunny, setting the stage for another major performer in 2027.

While no official announcement has been made, Miley Cyrus has made one thing clear. She sees the Super Bowl as both a challenge and a potential celebration of her 20-year journey in music and entertainment.
