BIGBANG brought their 20th-anniversary celebration to New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium on Sept. 11, marking the group’s only East Coast stop on the 2026–2027 XX : COSMOS World Tour. G-DRAGON, TAEYANG and DAESUNG performed together at the stadium as part of their first major tour since 2017.
The MetLife Stadium performance followed BIGBANG’s two-night stop at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum and came during a 31-show international tour spanning North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. The tour began in August with three shows at Goyang Stadium in South Korea.
The concert revisited songs from across BIGBANG’s catalog, giving fans performances connected to different periods of the group’s 20-year career. The set also highlighted the individual members, with G-DRAGON, TAEYANG and DAESUNG each getting moments within the larger production.
Among the performances highlighted from the night were BIGBANG’s signature hits, including “Bang Bang Bang,” “Fantastic Baby” and other songs that helped establish the group as one of K-pop’s most internationally recognized acts. The concert also incorporated the group’s anniversary theme throughout the production.
The MetLife appearance came months after BIGBANG reunited onstage at the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. That performance marked an early milestone in their 20th-anniversary year and preceded the announcement of the group’s worldwide stadium tour.
BIGBANG’s current touring lineup consists of G-DRAGON, TAEYANG and DAESUNG. The group’s 20th anniversary officially marks two decades since its debut in 2006, while the XX : COSMOS tour represents its return to a large-scale global concert run after nearly nine years.
Following the MetLife Stadium show, BIGBANG’s tour continues with a Sept. 19 performance at Stade de France in Paris and a Sept. 26 concert at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. Additional dates are scheduled across Asia and Australia through February 2027, with the tour set to conclude at Kaohsiung National Stadium in Taiwan.
