Bruno Mars has jokingly reacted to footage of Drake dancing with Karol G during the Colombian superstar’s Houston concert, calling her his “Latina crush” in a playful social media post. Mars shared his reaction on Instagram on Monday, Sept. 28, after Drake made a surprise appearance at Karol G’s Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour show in Houston the previous night.
In the post, Mars shared a photo of himself looking out of an airplane window while Drake’s “Marvins Room” played in the background. “When you see Drake dancing with your latina crush in 4k,” he wrote while tagging both Karol G and Drake. Mars then added, “Respond to me asap!! I have to get her back! I must get her back! I will get her back!”
The joke followed Drake’s surprise appearance at Karol G’s Sept. 27 Houston concert. The rapper joined her for a live performance of their collaboration “Ahí,” before performing his own songs “One Dance” and “Janice STFU.” Footage from the concert showed Drake and Karol G dancing together onstage as the audience reacted.
Mars and Drake are both featured on Karol G’s latest album, No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto. Drake appears on “Ahí,” while Mars joins Karol G on “Still,” an English-language collaboration included on the 14-track project.
“Still” has also received its own visual featuring footage from the pair’s first live performance together. Karol G joined Mars at his sold-out SoFi Stadium concert in Los Angeles, where they performed the song in front of more than 50,000 fans. The official music video, released Sept. 2, incorporates footage from that performance and behind-the-scenes moments from the show.
Karol G’s connection with Drake has also developed through her 2026 album and tour. Drake had previously referenced the Colombian singer on his song “New Bestie,” while “Ahí” features a callback to that earlier reference and became their latest recorded collaboration.
The Houston appearance came as Karol G continues her Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour in support of No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto, her sixth studio album. The project was released Aug. 7 and includes collaborations with Mars, Drake, Greg Gonzalez, Judeline and Rusowsky.
Mars’ Instagram post has added another moment to the ongoing public interaction surrounding the three artists, with his “I will get her back” line drawing attention after Drake and Karol G’s Houston performance. Neither Mars nor Drake has publicly announced any romantic relationship with Karol G
