Cardi B has cancelled her scheduled headlining performance at BZR WKND Jamaica, which was set to take place on October 18, 2026, at Kingston’s National Stadium. The rapper’s representatives confirmed the cancellation on October 8, telling Billboard that she would no longer appear at the Jamaican festival.
In a statement, Cardi B’s representatives said the rapper appreciates the support she has received from Jamaican fans and hopes to see them in the future. The announcement did not provide a reason for her withdrawal from the event.

“Cardi B will not be performing at BZR WKND Jamaica on October 18, 2026,” her representatives told Billboard, adding that questions about the festival, ticketing and other event-related matters should be directed to the organisers. They also stated that updates about Cardi B’s future performances would be shared through her official channels.
The cancellation comes just days before the festival, which is scheduled to run from October 16 to 19 in Kingston as part of Jamaica’s National Heroes Weekend celebrations. Cardi B had been announced as the main attraction for the October 18 concert, billed as “Cardi B & Friends,” and her appearance was expected to mark her first performance in Jamaica and her first stadium show on the island.
The rapper’s booking had generated anticipation among fans since it was announced earlier in the year. At a media launch in August, her manager, Kelvin Santiago, said Cardi B was excited about performing in Jamaica and described the appearance as a significant milestone for the artist.
The festival’s advertised programme includes several events across the weekend, beginning with the Yaad TING welcome event on October 16 at Devon House, followed by the TIDAL RAVE beach party on October 17. The main concert had been scheduled for October 18, with the closing event, Riddim — WYFL Edition, listed for October 19.
Other artists announced for BZR WKND include R&B singer Keyshia Cole and Jamaican dancehall performers Spice, Malie Donn, Ding Dong, Stalk Ashley and Shaneil Muir, alongside DJ MAC. Spice was announced as the festival’s host. Organisers had not publicly provided a detailed response to Cardi B’s cancellation at the time of the reports, leaving questions about any changes to the concert programme and ticket arrangements.
Cardi B’s planned Jamaican appearance followed the success of her Little Miss Drama Tour, which ran from February 11 to April 18, 2026. According to Billboard Boxscore figures cited in reports, the tour grossed more than $70 million and sold approximately 453,000 tickets. The trek supported her 2025 album Am I the Drama?, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
The rapper has also confirmed that she is working on her third studio album, which she expects to release in 2027. Her representatives have directed fans seeking information about upcoming appearances to her official channels, while questions concerning BZR WKND’s status and ticketing remain with the event organisers.
