The Country Music Association (CMA) has officially announced the return of its beloved holiday television special, “CMA Country Christmas,” now celebrating its 16th annual edition. The 2025 special will be hosted by Lauren Daigle and Jordan Davis, both of whom will also perform during the festive event.

Taped at Belmont University’s Fisher Center for the Performing Arts in Nashville, “CMA Country Christmas” airs Monday, December 2 at 9 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. CT on ABC, with streaming available the following day on Hulu and Disney+.
This year’s star-studded lineup features a rich blend of country, soul, and Americana talent, including performances from Riley Green, Lady A, Little Big Town, Parker McCollum, Megan Moroney, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, and BeBe Winans. Each artist will bring their own spin to holiday classics and new seasonal favorites, offering audiences a joyful mix of styles and traditions.
The special will once again be executive produced by Robert Deaton, directed by Milton Sneed, and written by Jon Macks.
Since its debut in 2010, “CMA Country Christmas” has become a cherished holiday tradition for fans worldwide, known for its one-of-a-kind collaborations, heartfelt storytelling, and magical performances that usher in the festive season. Over the years, the special has featured memorable appearances from Carrie Underwood, Lainey Wilson, Pistol Annies, Breland, and many more. Last year’s edition included standout duets such as Ashley McBryde with Brittney Spencer and For King & Country with Carín León.
This year’s hosts bring both star power and warmth to the celebration. Lauren Daigle, a two-time Grammy winner known for her soulful vocals and crossover appeal, and Jordan Davis, a chart-topping country hitmaker with a string of No. 1 singles, promise to deliver a show filled with energy, emotion, and holiday spirit.
“CMA Country Christmas” continues CMA’s tradition of celebrating music’s biggest stars across multiple formats. The special joins ABC’s slate of CMA programming, including the CMA Awards, set for November 19 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena and the CMA Fest summer concert special.
With Lainey Wilson, Megan Moroney, and Ella Langley leading this year’s CMA Awards nominations with six each, the 2025 holiday season is shaping up to be one of country music’s most festive yet.
