The 39th Annual Tibet House US Benefit Concert has been officially announced for March 3, 2026, at Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage in New York City, continuing a nearly four-decade tradition of star-studded performances in support of the nonprofit’s mission. Artistic directors Philip Glass and Laurie Anderson are set to lead the evening’s program, with Tony Shanahan serving as musical director.

Among the performers confirmed for this year’s lineup are legendary Blondie frontwoman Debbie Harry and The B-52s’ Kate Pierson, bringing iconic voices from punk and new wave to the benefit stage. Grammy- and Juno-winning artist Allison Russell is also on the bill, alongside genre-blending musician and producer Toro y Moi, with more artists expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
The concert will also feature contributions from The Philip Glass Ensemble, Tibetan artist and composer Tenzin Choegyal, The Resistance Revival Chorus, and the electro-acoustic Scorchio Quartet, among other collaborators showcasing a diverse range of musical styles. Honorary chairs for the event will include figures such as Uma Thurman, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Peter Sarsgaard.
Proceeds from the benefit support Tibet House US, an educational institution and cultural embassy founded in 1987 at the request of His Holiness the Dalai Lama to preserve Tibetan culture and heritage. Tickets and gala packages for the 2026 concert are now on sale, with details available through Carnegie Hall’s official channels and the Tibet House US website.
