Global Latin superstar Rauw Alejandro continues to redefine what it means to be an artist in today’s music landscape. Following a sold-out international run and record-breaking success with his fifth studio album Cosa Nuestra, Rauw has proven that innovation, storytelling, and authenticity remain at the heart of his artistry.

The Cosa Nuestra era represents a bold evolution for the Puerto Rican hitmaker, blending reggaetón, salsa, R&B, and electro-funk into a cinematic experience that bridges the past and present. Both the album and tour pay homage to the legendary 1969 salsa record Cosa Nuestra by Willie Colón and Héctor Lavoe, while reimagining that golden age sound for a new generation.
“The meaning of Cosa Nuestra is so big that I’d need twenty albums to explain it,” Rauw recently shared. “I feel deeply connected to my people and proud of where I come from. I don’t need to look elsewhere — I already have everything here.”
Rauw’s Cosa Nuestra World Tour, produced by Live Nation, became the most successful of his career, grossing over $91 million and selling more than half a million tickets across North America and Europe. The high-concept production, complete with a live band, dancers, and cinematic storytelling, follows the journey of Don Raúl, Rauw’s alter ego, navigating ambition, love, and redemption in 1970s New York.
The show’s visual storytelling and live instrumentation have drawn comparisons to Broadway theater, showcasing Rauw’s creative depth and artistic range. “What makes this tour unique is how smoothly the story connects with my songs from start to finish,” he explained. “I think I’m setting the bar very high.”
In addition to the main album, Rauw released Cosa Nuestra: Capítulo 0 in September, a prequel project that debuted at No. 3 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums and Top Latin Rhythm Albums, continuing his chart-topping momentum.
Now 32, the artist reflects on a period of personal and professional transformation: “You either get stuck or you evolve,” he said. “After facing frustration and rebuilding my team, I chose to move forward. This era is about growth, art, and freedom.”
With Cosa Nuestra, Rauw Alejandro is crafting worlds. His ability to blend heritage, innovation, and emotion has solidified him as one of Latin music’s most visionary forces today.
