RAYE Returns with New Album “This Music May Contain Hope”

RAYE unveils her second studio album, This Music May Contain Hope, marking a significant step forward in her independent career. The 17-track project follows her acclaimed debut My 21st Century Blues and continues her exploration of personal storytelling and emotional depth.

The album is presented as a structured journey, moving through four distinct chapters that reflect a transition from darkness to light. Sonically, it blends contemporary pop and R&B with orchestral and cinematic elements. Collaborators include Hans Zimmer, Al Green, the London Symphony Orchestra, and contributions from her sisters Amma and Absolutely, alongside multiple co-producers.

Her breakthrough continued with chart success, including the single Escapism featuring 070 Shake, and her recent No. 1 track Where Is My Husband?.

The new album reflects her belief in music as a form of healing. RAYE describes the project as something meant to offer comfort and reassurance, shaped by her own experiences and emotional growth. This perspective continues to define her songwriting, which balances vulnerability with strength.

To support the release, RAYE will embark on a North American tour beginning March 31 in Sacramento, followed by dates across the U.K. and Europe.
