The Isley Brothers to Get Ultimate Hollywood ‘Shout’-Out With Walk of Fame Star

The legendary R&B and funk group The Isley Brothers are set to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, 67 years after first charting with their breakthrough hit “Shout.” The honor, marking the 2,834th star on the iconic Hollywood Boulevard sidewalks, recognizes the group’s enduring influence on music and culture since their beginnings in the late 1950s.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, via producer Ana Martinez, announced that the star will be awarded in the recording category, celebrating a discography that includes seminal tracks such as “Twist and Shout,” “It’s Your Thing,” “For the Love of You,” “Between the Sheets” and “Shout!” The Isley Brothers previously were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1992 and received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2014, cementing their place in music history.

The Walk of Fame ceremony is scheduled for January 28, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. PT and will be streamed live on walkoffame.com, allowing fans worldwide to witness the tribute. The recognition adds to the group’s long list of honors and highlights the longevity of their career, which has spanned multiple decades and influenced generations of artists in R&B, soul, and funk.
