Released by Island Records and promoted to radio by REPUBLIC, “Manchild” follows a string of Carpenter’s chart-topping hits, including “Bed Chem,” which dominated for two weeks earlier this year, as well as “Taste,” “Please Please Please,” “Espresso,” and “Feather.”
Her accomplishments span three albums, with four of these hits, “Bed Chem,” “Taste,” “Please Please Please,” and “Espresso”, originating from her 2024 album Short n’ Sweet. This album became notable as the first since Taylor Swift’s 1989 to produce at least four No. 1 singles on the Pop Airplay chart, highlighting Carpenter’s rising influence.
