Drake has broken new ground in music history. The global superstar has become the first artist ever to hold the top three spots on the Billboard 200 chart at the same time. His latest projects — ICEMAN, HABIBTI, and MAID OF HONOUR — debuted at No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart dated May 30.
The achievement marks one of the biggest chart moments of Drake’s career and another major milestone for modern hip-hop. ICEMAN leads the historic run with 463,000 equivalent album units earned in its opening week. The album also delivered the biggest streaming week of 2026 for an R&B or hip-hop release.
Meanwhile, HABIBTI debuted with 114,000 units, while MAID OF HONOUR followed closely with 110,000 units.
All three albums arrived on May 15. While Drake had teased ICEMAN for months, fans were caught off guard when HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR were announced only hours before release. The surprise strategy clearly paid off. Beyond owning the Billboard 200 top three, Drake also earned his 15th career No. 1 album. The milestone pushes him past Jay-Z for the most No. 1 albums among solo male artists in hip-hop and R&B history.
He now ties Taylor Swift among solo artists with 15 Billboard 200 chart-toppers. Only The Beatles remain ahead with 19 No. 1 albums. ICEMAN generated more than 462 million official on-demand streams during its opening tracking week. The project immediately claimed the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Top Streaming Albums chart.
The chart takeover also marks another historic achievement. More than fifteen years into his career, he continues to redefine what commercial success looks like in modern music.
With streaming power, surprise releases, and one of music’s most loyal fanbases, Drake has once again proven why he remains one of the industry’s biggest global forces.
