EBiDAN’s ‘Yes! Tokyo’ Logs Third Week at No. 1 on Japan Hot 100 as Aimyon’s ‘Marigold’ Returns to Top 10 After Six Years

EBiDAN’s “Yes! Tokyo” has extended its run at No. 1 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100, earning its third overall week atop the chart dated Sept. 16, 2026. The chart tracks activity from Sept. 7 through Sept. 13 and also shows a major resurgence for Aimyon’s “Marigold,” which returned to the top 10 for the first time in roughly six years.

“Yes! Tokyo” is EBiDAN’s 15th-anniversary song and features members and artists from the collective, including Bullet Train, M!LK, SUPER★DRAGON, Sakurashimeji, ONE N’ ONLY, GENIC, BUDDiiS, ICEx and Lienel. The song was released digitally Aug. 11 and first reached No. 1 on the Japan Hot 100 on the Aug. 19-dated chart before returning to the summit earlier this month.

During the latest tracking week, “Yes! Tokyo” recorded 39,611 estimated physical sales, 1,623 downloads and 6,920,030 streams. Its overall points declined 17% from the previous week, but the song remained ahead of the rest of the chart. It also reached No. 1 on Billboard Japan’s Streaming Songs chart for the first time, with its weekly streams increasing by about 12.3% from the previous week.

SixTONES debuted at No. 2 with “Dance Forever,” the title track from the group’s 18th single, Dance Forever/マイオンリー. The single was released Sept. 9 and sold 430,312 copies during its first week, giving the song the top physical-sales position on the latest Japan Hot 100.

M!LK’s “Jikuu Koete Universe” entered at No. 3, while SKE48’s “Tameiki Mirai” debuted at No. 4. YAO’s “Arifureta Sekai no Hate ni,” featuring Awich, CHICO CARLITO, ONE OK ROCK and Paledusk, also entered the chart, arriving at No. 11 after strong download and streaming activity.

Aimyon’s “Marigold” climbed from No. 23 to No. 5, marking its return to the Japan Hot 100 top 10 after approximately six years. The song has now reached 405 weeks on the chart. Its renewed activity came during the release week of Aimyon’s best-of album, AIMYON BEST ALBUM – 唇を追え! –, which arrived Sept. 9.

The renewed interest extended beyond “Marigold.” Aimyon’s “Kimi wa Rock wo Kikanai,” “Ai wo Tsutaetai da toka” and “Hadaka no Kokoro” also recorded increases in streaming activity during the same week. Billboard Japan attributed the broader rise in activity to attention surrounding the new best-of collection.

Mrs. GREEN APPLE’s “Brand New” moved to No. 6, followed by =LOVE’s “Koi, Hajimemashita.” at No. 7 and Motoki Ohmori’s “Haiiro” at No. 8. M!LK’s “Sukisugite Metsu!” held No. 9, while Spitz’s “Mishiranu Ito” completed the top 10.

The latest chart results place EBiDAN’s anniversary song at the top of both the overall Japan Hot 100 and Streaming Songs rankings, while Aimyon’s catalog is receiving renewed attention following the release of her best-of album. The Japan Hot 100 results cover the Sept. 7–13 tracking period and were published Sept. 16.
