Harry Styles closed his 30-show Madison Square Garden residency on Halloween night, Oct. 31, with a New York City-inspired costume and a special tribute from Knicks captain Jalen Brunson. The singer dressed as the viral “Pizza Rat,” a famous internet image of a rat carrying a slice of pizza through a New York subway station, as he wrapped up his Together, Together residency at the arena.
Styles’ final performance was the second of two Harryween concerts at Madison Square Garden. For the Oct. 31 show, he wore a furry brown rat costume featuring pink feet, a long tail, black sunglasses and a large foam pizza slice. His bandmates also joined the Halloween theme, dressing as recognizable New York City landmarks and cultural icons.

The night included a surprise appearance by Brunson, who presented Styles with a commemorative banner celebrating the singer’s record-breaking 30-night run at the Garden. The New York Knicks point guard and 2026 Finals MVP joined Styles onstage as the arena marked the end of the residency. The banner was raised to the rafters, where Madison Square Garden honors major achievements by artists and athletes.
Styles’ residency ran from Aug. 26 through Oct. 31, with performances every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday over 10 weeks. According to Madison Square Garden Entertainment, all 30 shows sold out, drawing more than half a million attendees from every U.S. state and 79 countries. Jamie xx served as a special guest throughout the run.
The final concert also featured Styles’ cover of Talking Heads’ “Psycho Killer.” He performed the song during the latter part of his 22-song set, later changing into an “I AM A RAT” shirt while retaining the rat costume’s tail. The performance added another New York reference to a night built around the city’s culture and the singer’s Halloween tradition.
Styles’ Harryween celebrations have become a recurring feature of his concerts. He first introduced the event during his 2021 Love on Tour residency at Madison Square Garden and brought it back in 2022. This year’s Halloween shows included a Friday performance on Oct. 30, when he dressed as Elvis Presley before changing into the outfit he wore during his 2010 The X Factor audition to sing Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t She Lovely.”
The 30-show residency doubled Styles’ previous Madison Square Garden run of 15 performances in 2022, which also earned him a commemorative banner. The venue unveiled a new “Defining Moments” exhibit featuring memorabilia from the latest residency on its sixth-floor concourse, allowing fans attending future events to see items from the concert series.
The Together, Together tour is scheduled to continue in 2027, returning to North America with stadium performances beginning April 2 at State Farm Stadium in Phoenix. The tour’s announced guests for selected dates include Tinashe, Kylie Minogue, Lainey Wilson, Caroline Polachek, Feist, LCD Soundsystem and Tears for Fears. Styles’ New York residency marked his only U.S. tour dates in 2026, according to Madison Square Garden Entertainment.
