KATSEYE is moving quickly. Just two years into its career, the international girl group has already made an impact across streaming, television, major festivals and the Billboard charts. Now, with its third EP, WILD, the group is entering another stage of its rapid rise.
Released August 14 through HYBE and Geffen Records, WILD follows 2025’s BEAUTIFUL CHAOS. The previous EP debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. It also earned KATSEYE Grammy nominations for Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
The new project features “PINKY UP” and “Animal.” The latter was co-written by Ed Sheeran. Both tracks add to KATSEYE’s growing presence on the Billboard charts. More importantly, WILD continues to show how easily KATSEYE moves between different parts of pop music.
The group was created through a partnership between HYBE and Geffen Records. From the beginning, the project was built around an international audience. KATSEYE combines the polished performance style associated with K-pop with an English-language sound aimed at mainstream pop listeners.
That combination has become one of the group’s biggest strengths.
The release of WILD also arrives at an important moment for the group. KATSEYE is preparing for THE WILDWORLD TOUR, which begins September 1 in Dublin. The arena tour will continue through North America, the United Kingdom and Europe.
The group’s latest era has also crossed paths with Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields festival. KATSEYE was scheduled to perform at the August 29 event but withdrew after Megan suffered a sprained ankle. Megan later addressed the situation, while Devon Again was added to the lineup.
Despite the change, KATSEYE’s momentum remains clear. The group has already performed at Coachella and appeared on late night television. It has also earned major award recognition and built a sold out arena tour in a remarkably short time.
With WILD, the group is no longer simply introducing itself. KATSEYE is beginning to define its place in the next generation of global pop.
