Taylor Swift has made a donation to Kansas City’s nonprofit Operation Breakthrough, an organization that serves more than 750 children and families in the urban core by providing educational resources, before- and-after-school care, emergency aid and other support services. The nonprofit publicly thanked Swift on social media for her contribution and for championing creativity, education and opportunity for the community it serves.

Operation Breakthrough’s mission focuses on empowering children in poverty and supporting their families through advocacy and essential services, with its main center in Kansas City providing health, dental, nutritious meals and learning programs to kids while parents work or attend school.
Swift’s support of Operation Breakthrough comes amid a series of charitable actions during the holiday season, including major donations to other nonprofit causes and personal gestures of generosity in the Kansas City area.
The donation also reflects longstanding ties the charity has with Travis Kelce’s nonprofit foundation, 87 & Running, which has partnered with Operation Breakthrough on initiatives such as the Ignition Lab, a program aimed at helping students gain workforce and STEM skills.
Swift’s contribution to Operation Breakthrough adds to her ongoing pattern of philanthropic work supporting health, education and community services across the U.S. during the 2025 holiday period.
