In July, Beyoncé continued to dominate the live music scene, tying records held by stars like Bad Bunny and Elton John. Her Cowboy Carter Tour earned $102.3 million from eight shows, selling 392,000 tickets and marking her third straight month topping the monthly Boxscore charts. This streak puts her alongside Bad Bunny as one of the few artists to lead for three consecutive months. In total, Beyoncé has now spent seven months at No. 1, the same number as Bad Bunny, Coldplay, and Elton John, showing how much these artists have shaped the live music industry over the past six years.

July was also Beyoncé’s third month in a row bringing in over $100 million, a feat no other artist has matched multiple times. The total of her months crossing that $100 million mark is now six, including her 2023 Renaissance World Tour. Other artists like Bad Bunny, Harry Styles, and Kendrick Lamar & SZA hit $100 million in a single month but only once each. Beyoncé also led the Top Boxscores list with her four shows at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, which made $55.4 million and sold 206,000 tickets. These shows were just below the amounts she earned at her high-profile stops in Los Angeles, New York, and London. She also had strong performances with shows in Maryland and Las Vegas, each selling over 90,000 tickets.
Overall, the Cowboy Carter Tour grossed $407.6 million and sold 1.6 million tickets from 32 shows, making it the highest-grossing country tour in Boxscore history. This success helped Beyoncé maintain her records as the top-grossing R&B and Black artist in history, placing her among the top ten live acts globally. The tour also broke over 40 local records for earnings, attendance, and sold-out performances.
Not far behind, The Weeknd held steady at No. 2 for the second month in a row, earning $89.6 million and selling 604,000 tickets on his After Hours til Dawn Tour. His shows covered areas from the West Coast through Canada and ended in Philadelphia. At Levi’s Stadium near San Francisco, two shows brought in $17.1 million with nearly 100,000 tickets sold. His Pennsylvania shows sold more than 100,000 tickets, and his hometown Toronto concerts sold nearly 157,000 tickets, though only some counted within July. These performances ranked at various spots on the Top Boxscores list. Since starting in 2022, The Weeknd’s tour has made $635.5 million and sold 5.1 million tickets, becoming the highest-grossing and best-selling R&B tour ever, surpassing Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour and Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic tour.
Imagine Dragons earned third place for July, pulling in $86.3 million with 757,000 tickets sold over 14 dates on the European leg of their Loom World Tour. Their shift from arenas to large stadiums in Europe included two massive nights in Paris selling 158,000 tickets. Their full world tour, which finished exactly a year after starting, grossed $239 million and sold 2.2 million tickets in total.
The top ten list also featured strong performances by K-pop groups, with Stray Kids at No. 5 during their record-breaking Dominate World Tour and Jin, formerly of BTS, appearing for the first time as a solo artist at No. 9. Other K-pop groups ATEEZ and ENHYPEN also made the list, showing the genre’s growing global influence.
Overall, July proved to be a month of major success for live music, with Beyoncé leading the charge and other artists like The Weeknd, Imagine Dragons, and several K-pop stars demonstrating the continuing popularity and record-breaking power of global tours.
