Goyo & Javier Poza to Host the 2025 Billboard Latin Music Awards

Telemundo and Billboard just announced who’s running the show at next week’s Billboard Latin Music Awards, and it’s a pretty great pairing. Afro-Colombian singer-songwriter Goyo and Mexican TV host Javier Poza will be taking the stage as hosts on Thursday, October 23rd at 8 p.m. ET in Miami.

If you’re not familiar with Goyo, she’s basically a powerhouse in Latin music right now. The singer and rapper from Chocó, Colombia, first made her mark as part of ChocQuibTown, the Grammy-winning group that brought Afro-Colombian sounds to the world stage.

On the other side, you’ve got Javier Poza, who’s been a fixture in Mexican and U.S. television for over 30 years. He’s hosted some of the biggest reality and entertainment shows out there, including La Casa de los Famosos: All Stars 2025 and the first season of La Isla: Desafío Extremo on Telemundo. Before that, he spent 14 years hosting Javier Poza en Fórmula on Grupo Radio Fórmula.

The awards are also part of the bigger Billboard Latin Music Week happening at The Fillmore Miami Beach from October 20-24. Goyo will be there too, joining an Afrobeats panel alongside Humberto “Humby” Viana, Kapo, Ozuna, and Venesti.
